The abandoned car

I was recently walking around my neighborhood in North Bergen/Edgewater, NJ and amongst the new apt buildings and constant new construction, I found this abandoned car in a parking lot.  It looked like an old pick up truck from the 1930’s that’s been stripped of any recyclable parts and it was really not much of anything in its bareness but it still caught my eye.  Something about the old rust and flat tires still had a certain charm…maybe it’s my affinity for vintage these days.  I wondered how it was used, the family that it drove around for many years, or what the driver was like that it served.  Isn’t it a bit sad but still so very beautiful?
