Hello. My name is Jane. I am a wife, a mother, a banker, and probably will be a life-long student of photography. And this is my story…

My first encounter with photography was when I was about 15 years old, which is when I first saw a DSLR in person. Around that time is also when my dad showed me his National Geographic magazines and told me that when he grows up, he would like to be a photographer for the magazine. I never really understood why he read the magazines until then. He was living his dream by studying each photo on the many issues he saved in neat stacks.

My dad never did become a professional photographer but he left a lasting impression on me…though it’s an impression I only recognized many years later. Fast forward to present, in purchasing my own DSLR and learning the craft, I now understand my dad’s obsession. Photography hasn’t been a long love for me, nor was it even a love at first sight. But I have an overwhelming conviction to capture those invaluable seconds that can forever be cherished by my family and others. Perhaps it’s the mother in me who wants to remember every smile and milestone that drives me.

‘Passion’ is not a word that I use lightly. But I am passionate about documenting Life through my lens. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your lives to also document your precious moments.
